All skiffs can be made to sail. With the addition of a mast step, companion, centerboard box, rudder, centerboard, and the complete mast and sail kit; these skiffs are magic! As with any flat bottom boat, they sail their best sailed flat. The simple sprit rig can be in place in 3-4 minutes and removed in the same for storage. The lack of hardware is a definite advantage! Rudders can be off center so motor can be left on boat while sailing Hull rock can be modified to maximize sailing potential but this will minimize power usage at speeds over 10kts. This same hull rock modification maximizes use as a rowing vessel. . .incredible!
